This is exactly what I was looking for: experiencing a South Indian home, kitchen and neighbourhood, learning recipes, chatting away with a friendly, passionate host and her family, visiting temples on her street including feeding the sacred cows in the temple cowshed, participating in temple ceremonies and getting clarity on Hindu deities and symbols, sharing a meal, learning to draw kolams, making friends. A learning, hands-on, authentic experience.

Sangeetha was an amazing host! We enjoyed our time learning about Indian cooking and Indian culture. She also gave us a number of recommendations for other things for us to do while we were in India. I could not recommend this experience more if you are looking for a personal and intimate experience.

It was such an enjoyable walk of Pondy Bazaar shopping street! It was so much fun that I can ask questions about things I see. How people use it, how to cook, how they shop, wear, use, etc., which you cannot experience if you are shopping alone or with your travel mates. Also, Sangeetha's accompany blew away a kind of awkwardness I usually feel when stopping at local shops as a total stranger. Being a travel lover herself, I felt Sangeetha understands points of interest of international traveler. Whether you have your shopping list or not, this experience is highly recommended!
